Summary: | This patent describes a procedure dealing with a preparation of benzimidazolone (o-phenylen urea) and the derivatives of that which is provided based on the catalytic carbonylation of 2-nitroaniline or of the derivatives of it, with use of carbon monoxide, at the temperature of 80 up to 250 Celsius degrees and at the pressure of 1 up to 30 MPa, while the presence of the aprotic solvent is most suitable. The carbonylation is catalysed by the three component catalytic system which consists of sulphur (1 up to 20 weight percent) or of the sulphur compounds, calculated according to 2-nitroaniline or its derivatives, of the alkaline component at least (0,1 up to 15 weight percents) which is selected among oxides and hydroxides of alkaline metals (CH3ONa, C2H5ONa, CH3OK, C2H5OK), alkaline salts of carboxyl acids C1 up to C6 and tertiary amines /(CH3)N, (C2H5)3N/. The third component is a compound of vanadium (V205, NH4VO3) in the quantity of 5.10 exp(-4) up to 3 weight percent. |
