Summary:Disclosed are beta,beta-disubstituted derivatives of 9-deoxo-9a-N-ethenyl-9a-aza-9a-homoerythromycin A, new semisynthetic antibiotics of macrolide class of the general formula (I), as well as their pharmaceutically acceptable addition salts with inorganic or organic acids. Process for the preparation is based on the reaction of 9-deoxo-9a-aza-9a-homoerythromycin A with ethoxymethylene derivatives in toluene or in other aprotic solvent under the temperature 20 to 80 C. pharmaceutical composition as an active substance contains the said derivatives together with pharmaceutically acceptable bearer. Homoerythromycin A derivatives are used for preparation of medicament for treatment of bacterial infections.
