Summary:Nitrification inhibitors are characterised in that they contain as active substances 1H-1,2,4-triazole or substituted 1H-1,2-4-triazole, its salts or metallic complexes, and at least another compound such as a substituted pyrazole, its salts or metallic complexes, dicyanodiamide, guanylthiourea, thiourea, ammonium thiosulfate, ammonium thiocyanate. These agents have considerable synergistic effects and, compared with the individual compounds, are more effective and economic, and they may be used in reduced amounts.
