Summary:Supporting device for the side wall (2) of double-roller device for continuous casting thin metallic strips of type comprising two cooled cylinders (1) having horizontal axes, two side walls (2) driven on sides (3) of these cylinders (1). Supporting device consists of a carriage (5) which can be moved parallel to the axes of the cylinders (1) and has a thrust member (6) carried by the said carriage (5) and a panel (4) joined to the side wall (2) of a cylinder through a thrust plate (8) and thrust elements (9, 9', 9'', 9'''). The panel has at least one long bolt (11, 11') which passes through the thrust plate (8) and has its free end equipped with a stop (13, 13') which can be applied against the rear face (14) of the thrust plate.
