Summary:The metal case (1) of the artillery ammunition initiator is made of stainless steel and a shell of a case (1) has a wall (7) that at least from the level of a chamber (61) for a powder charge (6) becomes thinner towards an end (3). The material of the case (1) is stainless austenitic chrome-nickel steel, it contains chromium in the range of 15-21% by weight, preferably 17-19% by weight, nickel in the range of 5-15% by weight, preferably 8-10% by weight, with a carbon content of up to 0.25% by weight. The wall (7) of the case (1) at the end (3) has a thickness of up to 0.5 mm, preferably up to 0.3 mm, particularly preferably 0.15 to 0 .25 mm. At least part of the casing (1) along the chamber (61) is annealed to increase the flexibility of the material, preferably by induction heating. The entire initiator includes an anvil (4), a fuse (5) and the powder cartridge (6) located in the case (1), while these elements can be part of a connected 15 group of the first segment (8), the second segment (9) and the capsule (10) from non-ferrous metal. Kovové puzdro (1) iniciátora delostreleckej munície je z nehrdzavejúcej ocele a plášť puzdra (1) má stenu (7), ktorá sa aspoň od úrovne komory (61) na prachovú náplň (6) smerom ku koncu (3) stenčuje. Materiál puzdra (1) je nehrdzavejúca austenitická chromo-niklová oceľ, zahŕňa chróm v rozsahu 15 až 21 % hmotn., výhodne 17 až 19 % hmotn., nikel v rozsahu 5 až 15 % hmotn., výhodne 8 až 10 % hmotn., a to pri obsahu uhlíka do maximálne 0,25 % hmotn. Stena (7) puzdra (1) pri konci (3) má hrúbku do 0,5 mm, výhodne do 0,3 mm, obzvlášť výhodne 0,15 až 0,25 mm. Aspoň časť puzdra (1) pozdĺž komory (61) sa žíha na zvýšenie pružnosti materiálu, výhodne sa žíha indukčným ohrevom. Celý iniciátor zahŕňa v puzdre (1) umiestnenú nákovku (4), zápalku (5) a prachovú náplň (6), pričom tieto prvky môžu byť súčasťou spojenej skupiny prvého segmentu (8), druhého segmentu (9) a kapsuly (10) z neželezného kovu.
