Summary:Provided is a heat insulating structure for a cylindrical pipe, wherein the heat insulating structure can suppress formation of a large gap between a pair of heat insulating members arranged adjacent to each other in the axial direction of the cylindrical pipe. On the outer periphery of the cylindrical pipe through which a low temperature fluid flows, a heat insulating wall is provided. The heat insulating wall is composed of a plurality of cylindrical layers having different diameters, and each of the cylindrical layers is formed of circular-arc heat insulating members (P) divided in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical pipe and the axial direction of the cylindrical pipe. With respect to the pair of heat insulating member (P) aligned adjacent to each other in the axial direction of the cylindrical pipe in at least a heat insulating wall on the inner side in the radial direction of the cylindrical pipe among the plurality of layers of the heat insulating wall, a connecting member (W) having a pair of locking portions (Wa) is provided so that the pair of locking portions (Wa) are separately inserted inward in the radial direction of the cylindrical pipe into the outer surface portions of the pair of heat insulating members (P).
