Summary: | An arrangement for dewatering a pulp suspension. The arrangement comprises a plurality of substantially vertical pipe lines (10) with an inlet end and an outlet end, which are connected to an upper and, respectively, lower chamber (12 and, respectively, 13). The pipe lines are formed with liquid-permeable walls and are located within an area defined by a cylindric wall element (11). A rotary horizontal plate (17, 21) provided with apertures (19, 33) is located adjacent the outlet end of the pipe lines (10) so as upon its rotation alternatingly to open and close the outlet ends of the pipe lines (10) for simultaneous control of the feed of the pulp and of the dewatering in the pipe lines. |
