Summary:A heat flow measuring device has a temp. sensors to measure the temp. of a heat transfer medium upstream and downstream of a consumer, together with a meter to measure the volume rate of flow of the heat transfer medium. Suitable temp. sensitive devices are thermistors which are connected in a Wheatstone bridge arrangement. The out-of-balance signal is dependent on the temp. difference created by the consumer and is fed to an amplifier. The analogue output is converted to digital form by an integrator, two counters, and an oscillator. The volume rate-of-flow metering device includes a switch which controls a further switch to interrupt and connect the analogue signal.
