The epoxy-phenol resin is composed of a mixture of an epoxy resin (e.g. a condensation product of epichlorohydrin and di-phenol-propane), and a phenolic resin (e.g. a condensation product of phenol and formaldehyde), wherein the epoxy resin is cross-linked to the phenolic resin. The resin may be applied as a lacquer. The polyolefin may be an azially stretched polypropylene film. The laminate may be used for packaging foodstuffs. |
