A silicone rubber forming composition comprises: (I) an organopolysiloxane, (II) an organic peroxide curing agent for I and (III) at least 3% by wt. (based on I) of fumed TiO 2 having a particle size of 15-40 millimicrons and a surface area of 40-60 square metres per gram. I may contain 1À9-2À2 organic radicals per Si atom, e.g. methyl and/or phenyl radicals and may contain 0À01-0À35 mole % vinyl groups per Si atom. The composition may also contain an antistructuring agent, e.g. a hydroxyl terminated silane or siloxane.
