Summary:FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at production of polishing materials. The rare earths carbonates are precipitated with the solution of carbonic acid, filtered, dried, and are transformed by calcinations to rare earth oxides. The precipitation of rare earth carbonates is carried out at temperature 20-60C; the precipitation degree is regulated in the range 75-100%. ^ EFFECT: invention allows to obtain without size specification the powders with different particle size, in particular 0,4-0,8 mcm, 0,8-1,2 mcm, 1,2-1,5 mcm. ^ 4 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex Изобретение может быть использовано при изготовлении полировочных материалов. Карбонаты редких земель осаждают раствором соли угольной кислоты, фильтруют, сушат и обжигают до оксидов. Осаждение карбонатов проводят, регулируя степень осаждения редких земель в диапазоне 75-100% и температуру в диапазоне 20-60°С. Изобретение позволяет без классификации получать порошки оксидов разного размера, в частности 0,4-0,8 мкм, 0,8-1,2 мкм, 1,2-1,5 мкм. 3 з.п. ф-лы, 1 табл.
