Braking mechanism of drive wheel with independent suspension comprises drive wheel actuator, moving and fixed part of braking mechanism. Moving and fixed part of braking mechanism are installed at vehicle spring-suspended weight. ^ EFFECT: there achieved is improvement of vehicle controllability at high speed due to decrease of steering wheel resistance to turning, increase of vehicle brake system security due to removal from brake cylinder actuator of rubber hose support necessary for motion compensation caused by suspension vibration and increase of vehicle traveling comfort via decrease of vehicle unsprung weight. ^ 1 dwg
