Summary:FIELD: weaponry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fragmenting projectiles. The proposed round incorporates a fragmenting casing made from a tubular perform jointed with a preset tightness, via an epoxy sealant interlayer, with its self-contained base and filled with explosive material, head fuse fitted in the taper adapter hole made integral with the aforesaid casing, sleeve with perforated grinding localizer circular grooves arranged on the casing surface and forming, in lengthwise section, a saw-like profile with webs, their thickness making 0.25 to 0.45 of the casing wall thickness, leading ledges for the barrel rifling grooves and propellant charge fitted in the combustion chamber arranged on the casing base part furnished with jets holes and accommodating the central percussion cap. The combustion chamber outer surface features a gas check representing circular undercuts. ^ EFFECT: ease of manufacture, increased fragmentation effect. ^ 1 dwg
