Summary: | FIELD: transportation; rescue equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method of evacuation from a multi-storey building employs an evacuation capsule. The evacuation capsule has seats with belts and airbags. The evacuation capsule is carried into an external chute, running in a helical line around the building. Workers take their positions and start lowering the capsule.
