FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes action on the source of smell water by an aqueous emulsion of the type "water - oil", containing 2,7,7-trimethylbicyclo [3,1,1] heptene-2 and a trans-3,7-nerol-2,6-ol-1 with the following relationship of components, % of masses: 2,7,7-trimethylbicyclo [3,1,1] heptene-2 - 0.05/ 0.25; a trans-3,7-nerol-2,6-ol-1 - 0.6/1.5; water - the rest. One of variants of the method stipulates the use of an emulsion with the following structure, % of masses: 2,7,7-nerol [3,1,1] heptene-2 - 0.05/0.25; a trans-3,7-nerol-2,6-ol-1 0.5/1.7; alpha-hexylcinnamic aldehyde 0.6/1.7; 3-metoxy-4-oxyallylbenzene - 0.6/1.7; alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride - 2.5/5.5; water - the rest. In the third variant of realisation of the method use an emulsion, containing, % of masses is stipulated: methyl ether beta-naphtol - 0.04/0.3; dodecanol 1 7.0/10.0; osvan -2.5/7.0; water - the rest. ^ EFFECT: invention makes it possible to enlarge the nomenclature of deleted smells and to provide fast elimination of smells for long time. ^ 12 cl, 6 ex
