FIELD: electricity, electro-chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electrochemical methods of manufacturing printed circuit boards and may be used also for electrochemical marking of current conducting surfaces. Technical result is development of printed circuit board PCB directly by photomask, simplification of plate movement method with the slot along the non-working surface of EI, simplification of EI switching circuit and foil-clad insulator. It is achieved by the method, which consists in selective electrochemical etching of foil-clad insulator during plate movement with slot along the surface of photomask, which is installed on non-working surface of photo-sensitive semiconducting electrode-tool, on the surface of electrode tool the light radiation is projected. Etching of non-conducting pattern of printed circuit board is done under those parts of electrode tool, where the radiation hits, which passed through the slot and transparent parts of photomask. ^ EFFECT: obtaining simplified method of printed circuit board creation by photomask. ^ 2 dwg
