Summary:FIELD: medicine; medical equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: biological tissue welding and welding management method consists at the first stage of applying high frequency voltage to the electrodes of the tissue welding device, monitoring impedance and measuring the minimum impedance value, measuring relative impedance as a ratio of the impedance to the minimum impedance, detecting the moment when the relative impedance reaches the earlier calculated impedance value, initiation of the second stage when relative impedance reaches the earlier calculated relative impedance value, and applying high voltage frequency during the second stage to the electrodes of the welding device. Welding is performed by a tissue welding device, which has optional surgical instruments with electrodes specially adapted to contact welded tissue, a power source attached to the electrodes to apply high frequency voltage, equipped with one or several sensors to measure high frequency voltage and current between the electrodes, and a managing device attached to the power source. The managing device function is to operate the power source applying high frequency voltage to the electrodes during the first stage; monitor tissue impedance, measure the minimum impedance of biological tissue and relative tissue impedance as a ratio of the measured impedance to the minimum impedance, detect the moment when the relative impedance reaches the earlier measured relative impedance during the first stage; and manage the power source applying high frequency voltage during the second stage. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of surgery by adaptation to various tissue types and width during the welding procedure; no need to adjust the welding equipment during the process of welding. ^ 88 cl, 6 dwg, 3 ex
