Summary:FIELD: dry catching technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: dust catcher has horizontal casing with inlet branch pipe and diffuser extending lengthwise of casing axis, packet of blocking members positioned within casing, dust collecting hopper device and purified gas discharge branch pipe fixed within converging tube connected to casing. Hopper device is made in the form of at least two hoppers sequentially arranged within lower part of casing, with axes of hoppers extending perpendicular to axis of casing. Combs are defined at adjacent hopper junction sites. Packet of blocking members is made in the form of at least two alternating cutoff members formed as plates, with one of said members being fixed in upper part of casing and having wedge-shaped section with apex oriented toward hopper, while other of said members being fixed on comb of hopper device and being made in the form of vertical plate having wedge-shaped section with apex oriented in direction opposite to hopper device. Angle braces are fixed on apex at an acute angle to vertical plate, symmetrically around vertical axis, to the right and left from apex. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability of dust catching process. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
