Ratio of outer diameter of shell to length of heat exchange tubes in proposed device is 1.14-0.26; ratio of diameter of heat exchanger tubes to outer diameter of shell is 0.02-0.14; total number of heat exchange tubes is within 13 and 1701; heat exchange surface at length of heat exchange tubes lying within 1 and 9 m is within 1.0-961 sq.m; area of flow section in segment cutouts of partitions is within 30 and 1640 sq.m; area of flow section between partitions is within 50 and 1870 sq.m; area of section of one pass of heat exchange tubes is within 40 and 3750 sq.m; ratios outer diameter Do of shell to diameters of nominal bores of unions for tube and inter-tubes spaces are equal, lying within 1.9-4.0. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation. ^ 1 dwg
