Summary:FIELD: food processing and pharmaceutical industries, in particular polysaccharide production from plant raw materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: yellow sweet clover raw material at the beginning of flowering is extracted with 60 % ethanol on water-bath at 65-70°C in raw material/ethanol mass ratio of 1:3. Then raw material is dried, soaked in water, and placed on boiling water-bath for 1.5 h, and water-soluble polysaccharides are extracted therefrom. Obtained extract is run off. Raw material is squeezed out and obtained liquid is added to extract. Plant raw material is poured with 1 % solution of ammonium citrate or ammonium oxalate at 75-80°C in ratio of 1:5. Then extraction is carried out on boiling water-bath to produce water-insoluble polysaccharides. Obtained extract is run off, plant raw material is squeezed out. Obtained liquid is added to extract. Extracts of water-soluble and water-insoluble polysaccharides are blended, evaporated and filtered. Polysaccharides are precipitated with ethanol from obtained solution followed by precipitate separation, washing with alcohol, acetone, alcohol and ether mixture. Then polysaccharide aqueous solution is passed through ion exchange columns filled with cation exchange and anion exchange agents and dried. ^ EFFECT: increased polysaccharide yield. ^ 3 ex
