Summary: | FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; methods of smelting of the stainless steel intermediate product in the electric arc furnace. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of to metallurgy and may be used at the stainless steel production by the duplex - process with smelting of the high-chromium exceeding 9 % of chromium iron carbon intermediate product in the electric arc furnace with its subsequent refining in the aggregate of argon-oxygen refining. Reduction of the chromium oxides from scoria is exercised using silicon of the ferrosilicon, which add after carbon-containing reducing agents at achievement of the contents of the chromium oxides in scoria of 12...15 % also introduce at the rate of obtaining of the scoria in the furnace with the contents of the chromium oxides of no more than 5...10 %. The invention allows at saving the sufficient basicity of the scoria to drain it off completely from the furnace, to preserve the furnace lining at the high-degree of usage of chromium and also to reduce the heat duration on the average by 15 minutes and to decrease consumption of the ferrosilicon in 2 times. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures at saving the sufficient basicity of the scoria to drain it off completely from the furnace, to preserve the furnace lining at the high-degree of usage of chromium, to reduce the heat duration by 15 minutes, to decrease consumption of the ferrosilicon in 2 times. ^ 7 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
