Summary:FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should perform resection of temporal bone pyramid from the top through mastoid part of temporal bone. One should dissect cerebellar outline from the site of dura mater's lancing up to its free edge. Then one should perform the traction of temporal lobe extradurally as a single block of sigmoid sinus and complex of draining veins. The innovation provides decreased traumatism and post-operational complications due to availability to study the structures of inter-pedicular, by-passing, cerebellopontine cisterns, the upper clivus and oculomotor triangle, and, also, the lower petrosal sinus, Darello's canal together with ascending abducting nerve. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 1 ex
