Summary:FIELD: manufacture of removable armored solid-propellant charges used in rocket systems and other areas of technique. ^ SUBSTANCE: the method is dealt with the fields of manufacture of the removable armored solid-propellant charges used in rocket systems and other areas of technique. The method of armoring of solid-propellant charges by the thermoplastic armoring compounds with the help of the injection-molding machines includes inserting, centering of a solid propellant grain in a press-mould containing a chamber, and injection under pressure of the melted armoring material into a clearance between the press-mould and the propellant grain. The charges are armored along the butt and the lateral surface. On the subjected to armoring butt of the solid-propellant grain they make an operational opening. The press-mould contains a sprue cover equipped with the centering protrusion contacting with the operational opening. At that the opening before insertion of a charge in a press-mould is filled in with an easily deformed porous material. The given method expands the technological capabilities of the armoring mould casting and improves the quality of produced charges with a large elongation (L/D)> 2.5...3. ^ EFFECT: the invention expands the technological capabilities of the armoring mould casting and improves the quality of produced charges with a large elongation. ^ 3 cl, 5 dwg, 3 ex
