Summary:FIELD: magnetic supports of the vertical rotors. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the magnetic supports of the vertical rotors, fast-rotating instrumentation, gyroscopes, energy storage units, generators, turbo-molecular pumps, in which the upper magnetic support of a rotor not only unloads the lower support from an axial load, but also simultaneously ensures the radial stiffness and centering of the rotor with respect to the body. The magnetic support of the vertical rotor contains a ring-shaped axially magnetized magnet with a pole terminal made in the form of a ring with a rectangular cross-section adjoining to the lower butt of the magnet and a ferromagnetic bushing placed on the rotor opposite to the lower butt of the magnet. At that the external diameter of the pole terminal makes 0.8 1.1 of value of the mean diameter of the magnet and thickness of the pole terminal is equal to 0.9 2.1 of the value of thickness of the upper butt of the ferromagnetic bushing, and the height of the pole terminal makes 1 3 of the value of thickness of the pole terminal. It is expedient, that the pole terminal is made from a material, the coercive force of which is no less than the coercive force of the material of the ferromagnetic bushing. Besides the pole terminal may be made laminated with the radial direction of difficult magnetization of layers. The invention allows to increase transversal rigidity of the upper support of the rotor and to reduce pressure on the lower support without deterioration of the mass-dimension factors and complication of the support design. ^ EFFECT: the invention allows to improve transversal rigidity of the upper support of the rotor, to reduce pressure on its lower support without deterioration of the mass-dimension features and complication of the support design. ^ 4 cl, 5 dwg
