Summary:FIELD: electrical engineering, concerns vacuum switches designed for use in cubicls of switchgear and control gear. ^ SUBSTANCE: the vacuum switch has an insulating body rigidly coupled to the supporting frame of the switch, vacuum arc chute with contacts, whose movable contact is connected to an electromagnetic drive partially arranged in the cavity of the insulating body. The rod of the drive engaging electromagnet is installed for engagement with one of the movable levers of the operating mechanism. The operating mechanism has minimum three successively connected movable levers. The outlet lever of the operating mechanism is simultaneously coupled to the insulating tie-rod and the disengagement spring of the electromagnetic drive. The movable levers of the operating mechanism in the on-position of the switch are installed in a position close to the "dead" one. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation and speed of response, reduced mass and dimensional characteristics of the switch. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
