Summary: | FIELD: microbiology, medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates, in particular, to methods for preserving diagnostic preparations. Antigen drops of size 35-40 mm3 are dropped by Pasteur's pipette or syringe (volume is 2-3 ml) with needle on liquid nitrogen surface. In the process of freezing antigen drops form "globules" that fell on tube bottom. Freezing temperature under these conditions is (-170)-(-180)oC and time for formation of "globules" is 1 min. Then "globules" are transferred into plastic bottles in common with nitrogen for storing. Method provides retention of activity and specificity of antigen for a prolonged time. ^ EFFECT: improved preserving method. ^ 4 tbl, 3 ex |
