Summary:FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: one should carry out magneto-resonance tomography to detect cerebellar location. In case if cerebellar tonsils are at Chamberlain line one should additionally conduct a single-photon emission computer tomography with Tc99m. The obtained tomoscintigrams should be reconstructed by applying Parzen filter at frequency of cuttings being 0.6. Detected asymmetry of cerebellar circulation and/or irregularity of its circulation or irregularity of circulation in brain stem structures are considered to be indications for neurosurgical interference. The method suggested enables to reliably detect earlier signs to conduct operative interference in due time. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection. ^ 1 ex
