Summary:FIELD: electrified railways. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic tension regulator includes single movable sheave with frame connected at one side with wire or wires to be tensioned and at other side, with load cable two fixed sheaves with common frame are also provided. Length of common frame is not less than 2 diameters of sheave. All sheaves of tension regulator have equal diameters. Common frame of fixed sheaves is made to form hinge joint with turnable eye interacting through axle with bracket. The latter is installed on support. Sheaves of tension regulator can be made with frames of equal length, and common frame of fixed sheaves can be formed by frames of fixed sheaves made for rotation relative to each other. Frames of fixed sheaves can be coupled by hinge joint. ^ EFFECT: reduced metal usage, improved reliability and possibility of standardization of suspension. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg
