Summary:FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves processing chopped fodder of moisture content of 12-14% with low-pressure steam (0.05-0.07 MPa) having temperature of 110-1200C in mixer, with steam being fed before or simultaneously with feeding of chopped fodder; mixing steam-moistened chopped fodder with concentrated feeds ground into flour and having moisture content of 8-12% until final moisture content of feed mixture is 15-16% and temperature is 70-800C. Mixer has casing for supplying steam and chopped fodder therein. Low-pressure steam supplying nozzles are located at the leading part of casing, followed by successively arranged chopped fodder supplying device and concentrated feed flour supplying device. Mixing screw is mounted in casing. Casing leading part is arranged under chopped fodder supplying device and is equipped with coils. Remaining part of mixing screw is made in the form of blades. Minimal space between upper inner surface of mixer casing and mixer blades is 40-60 mm. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in producing of chopped fodder-based feed mixture without use of binders. ^ 5 cl, 1 dwg
