Summary:FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: papermaking machine has water separation chamber adapted for providing of vacuum-controlled drainage and equipped with set of water separation members. Water separation members are designed for generating turbulence in relatively thick paper pulp layer movable at rate equal to or less than 400 rev/min for manufacture of paper product having weight of unit of superficial area of at least 160 g/sq.m. Each set of water separation members comprises inlet member, at least one intermediate member, and lifting member. When molding web moves above intermediate members inclined at an angle of 0-10 deg with respect to plane defined by inlet and lifting member surfaces, upon which molding web rests, its path of advancement declines downward. Vertical displacement arises turbulence in paper pulp and causes mixing process resulting in deflocculation of paper pulp and reduced probability of sheet pressurization. Apparatus may be used in conjunction with known molding and drainage units, which may be arranged downward or upward of process course, when paper pulp has substantial thickness and low movement speed. EFFECT: reduced sheet pressurization owing to creating of sufficient turbulence and deflocculation of paper pulp. 15 cl, 16 dwg
