Summary:FIELD: oil-refining industry. SUBSTANCE: heavy oil raw material is oxidized and subjected to ultra-violet radiation afterwards. Oxidation is performed by means of ozone-and-air mixture at specific consumption of 3 to 10 g/kg and temperature of 40 to 120 C followed by vacuum distillation of oxidized product and mixing part of this product with starting raw material. Proposed method is realized in reactor-column provided with inner pipe fitted with gas flow disperser; used as ultra-violet radiation source are micro-filament matrices of gas- discharge plasma at density of 1 cm-2 located concentrically or radially and built in taper guide whose angle of inclination concentrates energy of radiation in center of inner pipe. Inner pipe is equipped with taper launder at taper angle of 30 deg. and foam slots directing the flow of product onto inner wall of column provided with preheater. Inner pipe is heated for ensuring temperature gradient in height (upwards) from 40 to 100 C; lower part of inner pipe is provided with branch pipes for tangential introduction of raw material. Ultra-violet radiation source has hole in its center for evacuation of waste gas. EFFECT: reduction of yield of destruction gaseous products. 5 cl, 4 dwg, 2 tbl, 4 ex
