Summary:FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing high-octane oxygen-containing substances used as additives to motor fuels and can be used in petroleum chemical industry. Isobutane fraction is subjected for dehydrogenation in boiling layer of alumochrome catalyst to obtain isobutene-isobutylene- -containing C4-fraction and it's the following compression. Isobutene-isobutylene fraction is isolated by rectification and fed for synthesis of methyl-tert.- butyl ester by its interaction with methanol at enhanced temperature in the presence of catalyst. Method involves also separation of prepared reaction mixture for methyl-tert. -butyl ester and depleted isobutene fraction, feeding depleted isobutene fraction containing unreacted isobutylene and washed out from methanol for mixing with the parent isobutene fraction and using as charge for dehydrogenation of isobutene. The parent isobutene fraction is separated for two flows being larger flow is fed for dehydrogenation of isobutene to isobutylene and smaller flow taken in the amount 10-15% of total flow is used as agent for cooling in condensation of isobutylene-containing blowings. Synthesis of methyl-tert.-butyl ester is carried out in the presence of sulfocationite in H+-form. If necessary, part of depleted isobutene fraction is fed additionally for dilution of isobutene-isobutylene fraction that is fed for synthesis of methyl-tert.-butyl ester. EFFECT: reduced loss of raw and specific energy consumption. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 1 dwg
