Summary:FIELD: determination of external ballistic parameters ( coordinates, velocity ) of bullets and shells fired against vertical obstacles by direct laying. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in experimental determination of firing accuracy and density of hits, in preparation of weapon for standard shooting, in determination of bullet or shell velocity, in training of personnel. According to invention light target includes four to six light screens. Each screen in mounted in certain manner with reference to plane of target and is formed with the help of one extended source-radiator and one optico-electron converter-detector optically coupled to it. Light sources and optico-electron converters are moved away from bundle of trajectories by safe distance and in shooting-gallery they are positioned behind armor protection along walls or in pit and under ceiling of shooting-gallery. Technical result of invention consists in exclusion of expandable materials ( paper, cardboard and plywood targets ), in increased safety of operators who do not go into shooting- gallery for setting and removal of targets and reading of results, in enlargement of target dimensions, in increased objectivity and accuracy of measurements, in exclusion of impossibility of exact determination of coordinates of holes while they are superimposed one on another, in raised informativity of tests thanks to simultaneous determination of velocity and coordinates, in determination of shooting accuracy and density of hits without spending any time for manual entry of coordinates into computer.
