SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a case, percussion primer, propellant charge and a bullet having an envelope with a cut in the head section and a slug with a cavity at the cut located in it, a chamfer is formed on the envelope cut from the inner side, the cavity in the slug is made in the form of a cone, whose vertex is directed towards the case bottom, the length of the cartridge and bullet makes up respectively (2.62-3.30)d and (1.24-1.90)d, the length of the bullet head section equals (0.70-1.17)d, the diameter of the envelope cut equals (0.30-0.60)d, and the bullet is installed in the case to length (0.43-0.73)d, where d - the cartridge caliber. EFFECT: enhanced range of reliable hitting.
