FIELD: water treatment equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has electrode made in the form of metal tube, electrode coaxially mounted inside said tube so that it is spaced from tube inner surface by annular gap, and additional electrode made in the form of metal tube and positioned in said annular gap. Shell is fixed on side surface of additional electrode. Coaxially mounted electrode is made in the form of spring fixed on rod made from dielectric material. Additional electrode made in the form of spring is positioned on shell manufactured of dielectric material. Electrode made in the form of metal tube and electrode formed as spring are joined to one pole of dc source and additional electrodes are joined to other pole of dc source. Apparatus may be used for removing suspended finely-dispersed gel particles and drops during flocculation and coagulation and it may be also used for removal of surfactants, fats, oils, petroleum products and other water-suspended substances from suspensions and emulsions.
