Summary: | FIELD: drying loose materials; woodworking works; production of wood particles boards; farming; food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes setting of nominal and maximum permissible magnitudes of moisture content and temperature of loose material at outlet of drum 1. Sensors 2-8 are provided for measurement of temperature of flue gases, moisture content and flow rate of initial material at drum inlet, moisture content and temperature of loose material, rate of its change at drum outlet. Units 15-24 are used for converting analog signals into digital values. Magnitudes of moisture content and temperature of loose material at drum outlet are calculated in extrapolator 27 by signals thus obtained and mathematical models; adequacy of models is checked in analyzer 28. In case of inadequacy of even one of models, coefficient of models is recalculated in adaptation unit 29. If models are adequate, calculated magnitudes of moisture content and temperature of loose material at drum outlet, as well as rate of change of temperature are used for forming control actions in reverse model 32. Considered to be control actions are flow rate of initial material and temperature of flue gases at drum inlet whose stabilization is performed by regulators 10 and 13.
