Summary:FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; applicable in development of oil pools at late stage characterized by nonuniform reservoirs of various nature, particularly, zonal nonuniform reservoirs, reservoirs with formations of various permeability or porous-fractured reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of displacing agent into every other or every several injection well; oil withdrawal from every other or every several producing wells; analysis of field-geological data on operation of each well with consideration of all history of given oil pool development; singling-out from history of development of spontaneous-nonplanned variation of hydrodynamic conditions of all wells; registration of oil pool response to spontaneous variation of hydrodynamic conditions by variation of parameters of producing well operation; singling-out of zones of oil residual reserves by oil pool response; determination of value of oil residual reserves by such parameters of obtained response as amount, rate and water- or gas-cutting of oil withdrawn from producing wells after spontaneous variation of hydrodynamic conditions; making decision on economic efficiency of subsequent development of oil pool. In case of sufficient economic efficiency of oil pool development as a whole or its separate singled-out zones of response, purposeful regulation of development system is undertaken in singled-out zones of response with consideration of obtained response results.
