Summary:FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: patient undergoes temporary endocardial stimulation. Atrioventricular delay should be decreased from 180 to 50 msec. Simultaneously, one should carry out direct tensiometry in cardiac cavities and main vessels to detect the values for atrioventricular delay corresponding to optimal values of systemic hemodynamics. Next day one should implant constant cardiostimulator at observed values of atrioventricular delay. The present method is available, requires no extensive surgical interference.
