Summary: | FIELD: method of successive application of polymer compositions to cloth surfaces by nonrotating structural members with preliminary treatment of surfaces for increase of adhesion, especially, in finishing of heat-resistant materials for sewing of special fireproof and oil- and gas-resistant clothes. SUBSTANCE: method includes application of composition to cloth base in the form of band moving with the help of drive pulley; distribution of composition over band with the help of vertical scraper blade; feed of band with composition distributed over its surface to drying chamber. Composition is distributed over band uniformly with 10-120 g/sq.cm with speed of band feed of 3-8 m/min to drying chamber with drying temperature of 130-200 C. Band with composition is treated from its bottom with steam at temperature of 100-120 C. Composition is applied in two layers, with the second layer laid on the first one, by distributing polymer composition uniformly with 10-80 g/sq. m with the help of the second turning vertical scraper blade installed behind drying chamber along the path of band movement. Band with two layers is also dried in chamber with temperature of 130-200 C, and before it, band is treated with steam at temperature of 100-120 C. In realization of claimed invention, cloth base may be treated before application of the first composition layer with steam at temperature of 100-120 C and drying at temperature of 130-200 C for removal of lubricant at band motion speed of 5-10 m/min. EFFECT: higher productivity of process, increased band speedup to 8 m/min, uniform thickness of coating better adhesion of applied layers of composition. 2 cl, 1 dwg |
