Summary:FIELD: conveyor transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed high-angle belt conveyor has endless conveyor belt laid over drive and end drums and provided with hangers, uniformly spaced over belt edges and each furnished with rollers installed for rolling along guides installed at both sides of conveyor and load-holding partitions hinge- coupled with hangers. Load-holding partitions are made in form of members capable of changing their spatial curvature being pressed, under action of gravity force on conveyor carrying run, to working surface of belt. Carrying capacity of load-holding partition, depending on weight of carrying run and angle of conveyor inclination is defined by ratio N = (Qn/i)sinalpha, where N is carrying capacity of load-holding partition, N; n is strength safety factor (n>1); Q is weight of conveyor carrying run, N; I is number of load-holding partitions tilted relative to longitudinal axis of conveyor by means of which each hanger is connected with hangers of opposite edge of belt; alpha is angle of inclination of conveyor, deg. Length of load-holding partitions is chosen to provide rectilinear shape of partitions on flattened idle run of belt with touching of belt surface. Each hanger is connected by load-holding partitions with two or more hangers of opposite edge of belt. Load-holding partitions are made in form of round link chains.
