Summary: | FIELD: technology of synthetic rubbers produced by polymerization of monomers in solution, suspension or emulsion and separated in the form of aqueous pulp with subsequent drying of rubber in screw drying units by method of pressure drop; applicable in synthetic rubber production. SUBSTANCE: method includes concentration of rubber dispersion in water, separation of rubber from water, water squeezing from rubber by squeezing machine, compression and heating of rubber in drying machine, extruding of hot rubber to atmosphere pressure zone, treatment of rubber with hot air at stage of final drying and cooling. Duration of rubber extruding to atmospheric pressure zone shall be equal to rubber relaxation effective time. Ratio of air mass supplied to stage of final drying to mass of steam formed in pressure drop is maintained within 3 to 8. If required, prior to supply of rubber for squeezing, it is additionally treated with partially softened water, or with water of degassing steam condensation. If temperature of rubber, after pressure drop, exceeds permissible limits, rubber is additionally treated with partially softened water, or water condensate of degassing steam supplied before drying machine. EFFECT: reduced drying temperature and power consumption, increased uniformly of rubber and decreased losses of highly volatile antioxidants. 4 cl, 1 dwg |
