Summary:FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of production of protamine sulfate from milts of mature fishes. Method involves raw boiling out in water, milling, treatment with acetone, drying to granules formation followed by extraction of granules with 4% sulfuric acid solution, proteins precipitation from extract by addition of alcohol twofold volume, precipitate dissolving in hot water, treatment with barium hydroxide and addition of ammonia, treatment with kieselguhr, filtration, passing filtrate through cationite in H+-form, eluate concentration, precipitation of end product, its isolation and drying. EFFECT: improved processes of extraction and filtration in granules preparing. 1 tbl
