Summary:FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: solid-propellant rocket engine includes ferrule of engine case and charge secured with this ferrule and provided with round axial passage. Combustion surface is provided with slotted compensator on one butt. Arch of charge is increasing to side opposite to slotted compensator at radius of passage decreasing in each section; this radius is found from the following formula: but it shall be no less than 0.1 of outer radius of charge, where r0 is radius of passage in center section along length of slotless part of charge; L is length of slotless part of charge; ri and Li are radius of passage and distance from slotless butt for this section. Proposed device enhances coefficient of charging chamber with propellant at equal strength and facilitated procedure. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 dwg
