Summary:FIELD: medicine, anesthesiology. SUBSTANCE: premedication is carried out along with tracheal intubation with subsequent denitrogenization and xenon-oxygen mixture is supplied into closed respiratory contour under FiO2 control, moreover, during saturation period a gaseous flow is established in volumetric ratio: O2 - 0.3 l/min, Xe - 1.0 l/min; 4-6 min later, after achieving a surgical stage of narcosis and at the onset of operation, the volumetric ratio of gaseous flow should be altered, moreover, the total volume of respiratory mixture should be up to 1 l/min at the ratio of O2 and Xe 0.4 l/min and 0.6 l/min, correspondingly up to the decrease of FiO2 not below than 96%. Hemostasis and hermetization of hollow organs are performed, then Xe-supply into respiratory contour is stopped, pulmonary ventilation is carried out with pure oxygen along closed contour at the volume of 0.3-0.4 l to normalize FiO2 values being 99- 100%, not lower. The present innovation provides decreased number of complications during Xe-anesthesia due to preventing the deviation of Xe-concentration in respiratory contour. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 ex
