Summary:FIELD: mechanical engineering; material handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed conveyor has support frame with closed guides secured on frame at both sides of conveyor and made in form of single tubes bent around drive and end drums and endless conveyor belt on sides of which hangers with rollers moving along guides are secured being uniformly spaced. Guides on carrying and return runs of conveyor belt are provided with split telescopic inserts. Adapter members are installed in butt zones of guides and telescopic inserts to let hanger rollers move. Adapter members have variable- height sections. Adapter members are secured on guides by half of their length, and are directed towards telescopic inserts by second cantilever half. Flexibility of telescopic inserts on carrying run is greater than that on return run. EFFECT: possibility of increasing the length of guides, improved reliability of conveyor in service owing to provision constant tension of belt at any degree of stretching. 4 cl, 5 dwg
