Summary: | nuclear power engineering; cooling water-moderated reactor core in fully deenergized nuclear power plant. SUBSTANCE: coolant circulation through reactor core is effected by its passing from core inlet to supersonic-injector mixing chamber inlet and from core outlet to supersonic injector inlet; coolant coming from core outlet is pre-throttled and that taken from core inlet is pre-cooled; mixture formed in the process is conveyed from supersonic injector to core inlet; mixture formed in injector is first supplied to starting tank. Coolant circulation through reactor core is maintained at desired level ensuring heat transfer from core which prevents emergency situations. EFFECT: enhanced safety of nuclear reactor. 4 cl, 1 dwg |
