Summary:powder metallurgy, particularly, articles from hard alloys applicable under extreme cyclic loads and friction forces producing high temperatures and resulting in rapid thermomechanical fatigue. SUBSTANCE: hard alloy suitable for articles applicable in mining operations contains 96-88, preferably 95-91 wt.% of WC with binding phase of cobalt or cobalt and nickel with maximum amount of nickel in binder of 25%. Hard alloy has WC rounded grains sizing 7-30 mcm, preferably, 10-20 mcm. In this case, grain maximum size does not exceed doubled mean value, and not in excess of 2% of grains in hard alloy structure have size smaller than half of grain mean size. Hard alloy has contiguity above 0.5, specific thermal conductivity in excess of 130 W/m. C for 5-7% Co. It additionally contains admixtures of rare-earth metals in amount not in excess of 2%. EFFECT: higher thermal and mechanical properties of hard alloy. 6 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
