Summary:machine engineering, possibly lapping of gear wheels. SUBSTANCE: process is realized by two stages. At first gear wheels are simultaneously treated with use of both generators until receiving zero electric current gradient while using large-diameter gear wheel as anode. Small-diameter gear wheel is remained connected with positive pole of electrochemical generator and it is worked until removing craters formed after electric erosion treatment. Then polarity is switched over and large-diameter gear wheel is worked by means of tool in the form of small-diameter gear wheel until removing craters from contact surfaces of teeth. Quantity of electricity generated by electrochemical generator is increased in proportion to relation of diameters of gear wheels. Process allows to increase contact degree of teeth of gear wheels up to 95-100%. EFFECT: enhanced kinematic accuracy of gear wheels. 1 dwg, 1 ex
