Summary: | treatment of friction units. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in preparation of composition of carbon of metal-containing natural minerals including introduction of surface active agents; then, this mixture is subjected to mechanical activation at grinding the particles of minerals to at least 0.5 mkm; composition of mixture is as follows, mass-%: schungite, 10 to 70; metal- containing minerals, 10 to 60 and surface active agent, up to 30. After addition of standard oil, mixture is fed to friction zone; forming optimal clearances is effected by stages. Technological medium is drained after required clearances have been obtained and operation is continued on standard oil.
