Summary:ecology, control over environmental pollution. SUBSTANCE: process of clearing of water from oil products includes manufacture of porous sorption material based on natural minerals ( schungite, pearlite, tripoli, diatomite ) with size of particles less than 500 mcm and thermosoftening plastic hydrophobic polymers with size of particles less than 300 mcm. Natural mineral is mixed with thermosoftening polymer in proportion of 100 parts by weight of mineral to 25-130 parts by weight of polymer. Prepared mixture is employed to fill moulds of certain configuration ( discs, cylinders, belts, plates ) and is subjected to thermal treatment at temperature of polymer melting in the course of 5-40 min. To execute the process discs, cylinders or belts are rotated in aqueous medium polluted with oil products. Oil products clinging to surfaces of discs, cylinders, belts in process of rotation are continuously scraped off by scrapers. Sorption material in the form of plates is dipped into water polluted with oil products and is kept in water till concentration of oil products in water reaches permissible value of 0.05 mg/l. When sorption material is saturated with oil products they are removed out of sorption material by vacuum pumping or by centrifugation and after it sorption material can be used again. Efficiency of proposed process amounts to 99.6- 99.8%. EFFECT: raised efficiency of clearing of water from oil products. 8 cl
